Even better. I don't know anything about it. I just know it exists.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

I've never taken any of these tests but I'll provide the info anyway.

Proctored, at a Pearson VUE test center. Computer-based.
Again, it will yield a letter grade. Further, the test is for 6 semester hours and
based on content in a full-year sequence in physics, Physics I and Physics II. Taking the UExcel in physics, especially quickly, seems like a high-risk approach to your present challenge. Please look at those self-paced courses instead.

Without worrying about what can't be changed now (your final exam) let me PROMISE YOU that this is a BUYER'S MARKET in education. You might have to say farewell to one or two specific programs, but there are hundreds dying for your application.

Does anybody else have any comments about the BYU class?

I have a comment about sticking to it. We had a house fire 2 days before Thanksgiving last year, almost in the middle of my last class for my BA. My professor never knew about it, I never mentioned it in the many discussions, and I nailed an A anyway. I wouldn't recommend this course of action, I'm just showing you that you can overcome ANY barrier if you put your mind to it. Best of luck!

In the Course Syllabus, the instructor says the following:
"
I feel that it is not possible to do well in this course without working hard for at least two months."
