Graduate with honor

Dear friends,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am going to receive my diploma and my GPA was 3.7.
Unfortunately it doesn’t show in my diploma . I thought I am graduating with honor. Do we have to have 4.00 gpa to graduate with honor?

As per their website, you've just hit the magic number!  Magna cum Laude!  Anything less, you would have gone down a notch... Wow, congrats on doing a great job and getting this degree finally finished!  Link: http://catalog.umpi.edu/content.php?catoid=6&navoid=243

Graduation with Distinction
Students receive graduation honors of distinction in one of three categories by attaining the requisite Grade Point Averages (GPAs) in all coursework taken at UMPI.

Cum Laude 3.500 - 3.699
Magna cum Laude 3.700 - 3.899
Summa cum Laude 3.900 and above

BTW, if you didn't know already, just like your international Associates or Bachelors, many universities will not show the GPA for their BA, there just isn't enough space or any real need to have that on the physical diploma.  All the important details are on the transcripts, such as the GPA, credits, courses taken, etc.

Congratulations! You did it!!!! You did graduate with Latin Honors. This will be on your transcript. Check them in MaineStreet. You can get an unofficial copy from there as well. You don't need a 4.0 to graduate with honors.

Magna cum Laude
3.700 - 3.899

Summa cum Laude
3.900 and above

Thank you so much . It would be really hard to get my degree without your help. You was very helpful. I am sorry sometimes I repeat same questions or had issue with English. It’s just I am on medication and English is not my first language.
I really appreciate your patience and support.
Now I do my best to find a job in the county . I love to help people.
