Questions on June Graduation at TESU

I believe commencement is done only once a year in September. So if you are a June 2017 grad you can walk in September 2017 commencement.

Yes, if you graduate in Dec '16, Mar '17, June '17 or Sept '17, you walk in Sept '17. The ceremony is just that, a ceremony. It has nothing to do with the act of conferring the degree. The point of graduating in June would be to have your diploma in hand then and be able to use it for your resume, job or grad school application sooner.

OK, here's the scoop. About two months before graduation (so for June we're talking early to mid April) they will audit your credits. If you don't have everything in place they will tell you so and schedule a second audit a month later. If you keep them informed of your situation, they will work with you fairly close to the graduation month. We don't know how close they'll go, but I assume there is some internal drop dead date. Except for having to pay the fees sooner, there is no downside to trying to graduate sooner rather than later.

Be aware that these timelines can vary. I still haven't received my first audit for June graduation. I reached out and was told that I'm still in the queue and there are many ahead of me. They audit in the order that applications are received and I didn't apply until a few days before the deadline. I doubt I'd have time to fix anything for a second audit at this point.

That sounds right. Normally the first audit would have been last month, but it sounds like this time around some people are only getting audited once. The last audit would normally be about now. If you know you have more credits coming in soon, email back and tell them so. They will work with you.

This is why I am planning to see my evaluation say complete or at least have the transcript there when I click the apply button. I'd like to avoid any issues that may need to be corrected.
