Questioning your path
#11
You may not have a passion, and, you know what? That's okay. You just have to realize it, and realize how not having one can mess with your mind. (You could become like a weather vane.) I'm probably twice your age, and I STILL don't know what I want to do when I grow up. Maybe I should get a degree in paralegal science. Maybe I should go and get an MPA. Maybe I should go after a CPA. Heck, maybe I should steal my momma's cue, and make a living as a nurse.

My $.02 - and it may not be worth that - is to stick with your training. It will be a skill you can use in the future. Read up on teaching English abroad. From some posters here, it's not always the dream you think it will be.

It's true. The decision you make today doesn't have to direct your entire future. Don't worry about the road not taken. (It probably has pot holes.) At a certain point in your life, you might realize that you're as happy as you want to be. There's a baseline in each of us, I think, that determines how happy we'll be. It's less what you do, and more what you are.

Finally, and I hope that I'm not lynched in this forum, are you using education to avoid living? It doesn't sound like it, but you might want to consider the point.
