Question on registering for TECEP at TESC
#1
I have posted this question to TESC representatives but not heard back from them yet. I suspect someone here may be able to answer. I have tried to register for my first TECEP but can't seem to get the site to work in that area. I have an account, can log into the Online Student Services area and see my transcripts and degree plan but not able to register for a TECEP. Are TECEPs supposed to be available to register at any time or are they tied to the 12 week semesters? My first TECEP will be Federal Income Taxation if I can ever get it registered.
Also, anyone recommend an online class with TESC with a high likelihood of 4.0 grade to qualify for the TESC GPA?

"Leaders in History" is fun and will be very easy if you're taking it by itself. No tests, only papers. My feedback is here. Try to get Professor Donald Redden—he's really good.

TECEPs are tied to the 12 week terms. The TESC registration system is not user friendly and took me awhile to figure out how to register for a tecep. In Student Services, go to Register/Drop Course. On the next screen, toward the bottom is the link 'Search, Register, or Pay for Courses'. Then choose your term and subject. The teceps are mixed in with all courses. You have until the end of the term you register for to take that tecep. I just took my first tecep (network technologies) last Friday - still waiting for the results.

I wish TESC had allowed students to have these exams e-proctored when I was still trying to get my degree!
