It says I can use the book and calculator but it doesn't say anything about what calulators if any are excluded. I have to do the proctored final and was wanting to know if anyone was able to use a graphing calculator like the TI 83 PLus

I'm gonna assume that they'll let you, but you shouldn't. A graphing calculator in an algebra test is basically cheating...

Straighterline makes it look like you have to proctor the final....are you sure your school requires it?

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Yes they drilled into my head to make sure it was proctored to count. Was just wondering because I'll have to go buy a new calculator because I don't own anything other than the graphing one.

Could you share what school this is? I'm just curious who is requiring this.
I would shoot SL an e-mail and ask them, you are the first person I have ever heard of who was actually required to be proctored (I know the mechanism exists...but never heard of it being actually implemented).

Very interesting. I would love to read a review of your WGU experience. If I had the time I would tackle their MBA just to see if I could pull off a ryoder and tame it in 1 term.
