Signed up for the Flashcards (last week) and just purchased the REA book...according to the forum, this should be enough resources to pass the Intro to Soc clep - after running through the flashcards three times, I took a Petersons practice test.
I scored 56 right out of 100. So I got 44 wrong, somewhat disappointed.
My question, did I pass this exam? I read another post that said I need to deduct 1/4 point for every wrong answer. I will continue to study another two weeks until I feel more confident. Any advice on this would be helpful...
Thanks for your patience.

I'm not sure if you passed or not, but running through the flashcards three times and then taking the test is probably not a good estimate on what you would do on the test. Once you study more you should be able to get a higher score.

Very generally speaking, the Peterson tests are slightly harder than the actual CLEP exam. The general rule of thumb seems to be that if you are getting over 50% of the Peterson questions right, then you will likely pass the actual CLEP. I always used 60% as my personal marker. BUt 56% is a decent practice score. I'd study a bit more, then take the other two tests. It's better to study an extra week than wait another 6 months.

Management, Accounting, Marketing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics

Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Management Information Systems
