One of my depths is in sociology. I'm wondering if the Criminal Justice DANTES test will count as a class I can use. These are the courses I have:
-SOC 321 Race, Ethnicity and Inequality in the United States
-CLEP Introductory Sociology
-EC Foundations of Gerontology
-and the DANTES Criminal Justice test
Thanks!

Hi eyrobinson,
Unfortunately it looks like the DANTES Criminal Justice test would
not count as a class you can use for the Sociology depth.

Here is the information regarding depth requirement that is printed in the EC Liberal Arts catalog:
Quote:
In cases where two disciplines are related but not overlapping (such as Sociology and Criminal Justice), you may apply credit from a course that has content related to both to only one depth requirement.
Hope that helps,
JoAnne

Oh, no I don't have two concentrations that are related. My two concentrations are in sociology and business. I figured the criminal justice test would count towards the sociology depth because it counts toward the sociology major. I really hope so, I have asked EC too.
