If you have recently attended Amberton for the MAPD or counseling degree - which were your favorite classes/professors and why? Were some classes easier than others either because of the content or reduced workload?
I am currently taking The Power & Wisdom of Love and have really enjoyed so far. Great summer class as the content is straight forward, enjoyable and not difficult. I only took one this session bc I wanted to enjoy my summer. However, I’m wanting to select the remainder of my courses and plan out which ones are most doable for me.
I’m interested in taking lifespan development in the fall but am afraid it might be rather difficult in terms of workload and content. Only interested in that one because it’s a required pre-req for Adult Psychopathology which I really want to take! Here’s some other courses I’m considering - would love feedback from anyone who has taken them!
- Human Resources Inventory
- Human Sexuality
- Stress Management
- Adult & Geriatric Psychopathology
- Motivation
- Developing Human Potential
- Lifespan Development
*bonus points if you have feedback on any of the required courses/professors.
Thanks in advance!
