Minimum number of courses per term
#1
what is the minimum number of courses to take in a term to remain in the program?

I was put into two courses for my first term here (spring II); and i am not sure that with my career workload that i can effectively start and finish a class between now and may 6th.

it looks like this Monday is the last day to withdraw from a class without issues, so i am assume if i start a new class now that if i dont complete it, i get an F or incomplete.

(in the BABA program. just completed HUM 103 Creative Decision Making and planning to complete  BUS 200 Intermediate Business Computing next).

thank you.

YourPace is just that, you take as many courses you can handle during that session time, there is no minimum... I would see what time you can allocate to your current schedule and try to finish the courses you are assigned before the term ends. I guess you haven't started the BUS 200, it shouldn't be a hard course, you should be able to spend at least a good week or two on it and finish it a few days before the deadline.

I think you get an F if you don't complete/pass a course, but others who have gotten UMPI degrees will chime in.

Full time is 4 courses per semester and part time is 2 courses per semester. There are 2 sessions per semester.

You are required to complete all of the courses you registered for unless you officially withdraw from them. If you don't complete them then you get an F. May 6th is almost a month away.

Minimum is 1 per term.

If you get a Pell Grant, minimum is likely 2 per term. My boyfriend is using a pellgrant, he has to do 4 classes per semester in order to get a big enough grant. the part time would result in him paying money.

I have just sent the draft of BUS 200 Intermediate Business Computing to Professor Dobbs, and completed HUM 103 last weekend; after reading up here about BUS 244 - Management Information Systems, i decided to go for it this term, and requested Jessica move it up for me, from Summer II to Spring II.

thanks all!
