I searched the forums and did not find a definitive answer to this question:
Do the DSST Criminal Justice and DSST Law Enforcement exams count as General Education exams for TESC?
Thanks.

Operalady,
I don't think there is a definite answer. I was told it depends on your degree program. For BASS they accepted CJ as a GenEd (or SocSci requirement) but said LE would be a free elective. This was prior to the new July '10 catalog. As with all things TESC, YMMV.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm really hoping both will be gen ed on my son's Liberal Arts Associates. His free electives are full to overflowing but he plans on a Criminal Justice bachelor's later. We'll see. I think I'll have him take them both anyway since there is so much crossover between the two exams.

I am not finding much recent information on this test. Last week I just took my first DSST Test on Priciples of Supervision and had it not been for the forum postings I don't think the IC flash cards would have been enough to pass. I did pass with 449, Yeah! But I was hoping to find the same kind of feedback on this test. Can anyone give me some insight on this exam and the best way to study for it. I have 4 more of these tests to take before May 24.
Thanks to All.
