If you are looking for an alternative to the Dantes Public Speaking test, I recommend the Public Speaking course (TMA150) from Brigham Young. I just completed the course. It took me about a month to complete the assignments plus another couple of weeks to get my final grade. The instructor is great and the lessons are easy to follow. No textbook is needed - all of the material is online. The course is completely self-paced and you have up to a year to complete 9 lessons.

This is great info. I am currently registered to take an online Public Speaking course at St. Petersburg College but I like the "self-paced" aspect of this one. I'm going to see if SPC will accept this. Thanks!
