Program completion like Tempo Learning?
#1
Question
Are there any other assessment-based competency degree programs from other universities as opposed to the exam-based competency programs?
I know much of the emphasis in this forum is placed exams, so I apologize if I'm not posting in the proper place.
I was curious to know if there are more programs like this.

Confused  For the sake of receiving responses, I would like to explain that I have bad test anxiety and prefer essays/projects.
Are John F. Kennedy University programs formatted this way? I have since searched and found this college which used to be Patten University, I think.

JFK University requires at least one exam for each course. At the undergraduate level, I believe every competency-based program is going to require exams.

You can try to get a medical accommodation to get extra time.

Also you can take alternative credits which have less weight on the final exam. For example, some Study.com courses have 1 or 2 written assignments. Then if you do fine on the quizzes (which are very short), you can basically bomb the exam.

For CSU, look at this user's thread. Seems to have the opposite complaint of you and has attended CSU. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...rch-papers
