Is this test still available? I finished Statistics and gonna take Public Speaking soon. I looked at the Prometric IBT website and there's no Public Speaking listed available?
Any guidance?

The reason you could not find it is because public speaking is NOT one of the IBT tests -- it can only be taken as a "paper and pencil" exam, not on the computer. For those testing locations that only offer IBT exams, this would be the only paper exam they offer.

Hi Marean. How was the test? Do you have any tips for me. I plan on taking it the end of this month. What topic did you get for your speech?
Thanks so much!

This site is your best resource for test / study material recommendations. Also donât forget the Petersonâs practice tests. My test topic was straight from that web site. It was by far my easiest test of the 12 Iâve taken so far to date.

Marean,
Thank you so much for replying!!! I'm very excited now. I've taken two practice tests on Peterson's. I was able to cut and paste the answers I did not get right into a Word document then I printed it. So the written part I know I will do well, especially if what's on there is covered on the actual exam. I wrote notes for one of the topics on Peterson, and will make notes on the other topic as soon as I get off my computer.
Oh, I'm so excited. I was feeling really scared, and actually was about to purchase the online course Saturday morning which cost $440!!!! After reading your post, I decided to save my money and give the DSST a shot.
Thanks again, Marean!!
PS - After I take PS, I plan on taking Lifespan Development. Have you taken that DSST exam?

Nope, just my certificate from the school of hard knocks. I'm after a business degree from Columbia. Good luck on your quest.

Thanks, Marean. I can participate in the graduation ceremony this May if I can pass all 3 DSST exams (Public Speaking/Business Math/Lifespan Development). I'm scheduled to graduate in August of this year.
