Does anyone know of a "not so tough / demanding" ENGL Composition II online course out there from any school?

Straightline.com looks to be offering a very decent English comp 2 program in the near future.

Penn Foster will have English 302 up and running soon and LSU has English Comp1002 which looks "user friendly" But, time consuming.

Straightline offering English Composition 2 soon? I'm not questioning you, I am hoping that you are right! Can you tell me what you know about the timetable when this might be done? My daughter has credit for English Composition 1 via a normal course and we need part 2. We live overseas and it is hard to get to a CLEP writing center. As I recall, straightline courses need no proctor (true?) and have ebooks that you can purchase. Can you verify? In fact anything at all that you can tell me about them would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Sidney

Straighterline.com is the site. I noticed people were spelling it wrong on a few threads here. Their concept is "a straighter line to your degree" get it? Yeah it's not that catchy but it makes sense.

But yes they are going to offer English Comp. II soon. The site doesn't give more specifics than that. I'm sure you can email them. They are very responsive and very friendly.

I just received a E-mail from the lady, stating in Mid-February that Straighter.com will offer English Comp II.

It sounds like a really good deal to me. I only need English Comp II to get my Liberal Studies BA from TESC. Plus the 1600.00 Dollars to change from the military program to regular.

In the mean time I might just go ahead and test out with Freshman Comp with essay and Clep English Comp with essay also, while I wait for the class.

They are freebies for military reserves.
