I have one upper division credit left and I have a choice to take one of these two tests. Which one of these tests do you feel is easier of the two, to study for? I have one week to learn and take this test so I can receive my diploma on time. It is to my knowledge that this site doesnât have a study guide for Business Law 2. If you feel that Law would be easier what sites and readings did you use? But if you feel that Principles of Finance would be easier then where should I go so I can grasp the idea around the theories and calculations. Please Please Please I havenât got much time and I really could use some guidance! Thank you

Are you prepping full time for a week? If not, neither test is going to easy.
Have you taken Business Law 1 recently? If so... maybe your okay to prepare for Business Law II in the next week. I put in about 20 hours. My suggestion for BL2 is the online companion websites. I don't have the links handy, but take a look at the test outline, and google "student companion" with the text book name. There are a few different companion sites, they are all good. The Barron's Business Law book is also handy, but I didn't think it was needed to pass or fully understand the topics.
For Finance... if you already know a lot of this (taken Managerial Accounting etc) you might be able to pull it off. There are a lot of formulas, while I didn't think it was necessary to memorize them all (my test version anyways) I did need a pretty good understanding of what does what.
Neither test varied much from what was on the outline. Base your study on those.
Good luck.

Thanks Joe. I will be studying full time until the test on Friday. I have taken Business Law in a class setting but it has been a little bit. Do you think that if I use the study guide for Business Law 1 it may be able to get by for the Business Law 2 test? Or does it cover other things (I am sure that it does)? What were the topics the test really emphasized on? I’ll look over the tests on the book websites with the Business Law 1 study guide. Or do think that may be a lost cause?

Don't forget to check out the specific forum category on this site. Do a search for either test and you will get feedback from members who have taken that specific exam. I have found this to be a great asset before testing in a specific exam.

Unless you have more recent exposure to Finance I would say to take Law II. I have heard that it is the easier of the two. Study hard and good luck!
