My understanding is that Excelsior has two GPAs on your transcript. One is overall, and the other is Excelsior classes. It makes sense to take one Excelsior exam and get a 4.0 for the Excelsior GPA column (I've heard people have some issues with grad schools if their Excelsior GPA says 0 or N/A.)
I was planning to take an ECE exam, for $240 to get my Excelsior A-grade. Now I see that UExcel exams are only $85. I'm looking at the Political Science subject. So, does anyone know, are UExcel grades on a 4.0 scale, or are they pass fail?
