I am taking my mother for a Cardiac catherization tomorrow. The last time I did this 12 years ago was a nightmare. They found a major blockage in the main cardiac artery, she was not allowed to get up after the cath and they did open heart surgery for bypass and valve replacement the next morning. She has been fine since except recently short of breath. The Dr. needs to go in and see what is up. I am very nervous about this. I can not find much info about catherization after bypass and this will be a new Dr. in a new hospital in a new state. Her 80th birthday is only 9 days away and I want us to be celebrating.
So please say a prayer for Vicki.
Thank you.
Linda

[SIZE="4"]May God the Father guide and grant great wisdom, a focused mind, and skillful hands to your Mom's Physicians, and grant that every cause of possible illness or blockage be removed so that Vicki may be restored to soundness of health. I ask this through and in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - Amen.

I had a heart "cardio cath" last year and all went well particularly since no blockage was found.

Linda,
Sending up prayers for your Mom and family; may God bless and bring her safely though the procedure. When Ladies reach that age they are made of some pretty strong stuff. If dietary restrictions hopefully she'll be able to enjoy at least a forkful of her birthday cake!!

No new damage or blockage was found. She is going home today and will need to start a new exercise regime. Thank you all for your prayers.
