I'm so sorry... I'm an animal lover too, I can't bear to watch any animal in pain. I hope she gets through this. I'm praying too.

Long day here. Long couple of days actually. Molly is home and resting. She had a CATSCAN today. They had to sedate her for that. She is on an anti -seizure medication that is very strong. I am not crazy about the side affects but we really do not have many choices at this point. Liver damage is on of the side affects. Hopefully she will not have to be on it forever. I have to keep her environment quiet and calm. I am just glad she has not seized for 18 hrs now. I cannot wait to sleep with her next to me. I love my girl very much. Thank you for all of your care and concern my forum friends. Thank you Smile

I'm so glad to hear she is home with you. Hopefully the meds have brought an end to that cycle of seizures. I'll keep praying on my end for a complete recovery. Don't give in to fear, your "girl" is and always has been in the Lord's hands.

Storygirl thank you for your morning message. I am glad she is home also. It is simply amazing how much you realize someone is that important to you until something actually happens to that someone. Which in turn makes you more greatful that you have this very special relationship. Fear will kill everything living. Fear does not have a place where love lives. My Love out weighs FEAR anyday of the week. She is here today, so I shall love her today. Because it is the only day I am sure of.

So far so good. Fingers crossed. She is still quite out of it. Moving slow and sort of sluggish. She is very sleepy. Very sleepy. She needs her rest. Actually I need my rest also. I am wiped. Thank you my sweet horse lovin girl!

It is nice that you take in unwanted and mistreated animals. It seems like you have a big heart. Smile Bless you.

Hi alleycat, I am glad that Molly is doing better. I am praying that she will have a complete recovery. It must be hard for you. I know the bond between a person and their pet can be very strong. Our cat was just killed and my family and I are very sad.

Oh LaceyLady so sorry to hear about your cat. So sorry.
We do become very attached to our little furry friends don't we. My pets are family. They are always there for you no matter how your day goes. They are remarkable. We lost one of our horses last winter/spring. It was very difficult on us. He was lucky he lived a very long time. He was a rescue also, off of a race track. They were culling and I took him in. He was a very, very good boy. When our cat Clarice (17) passed away due to kidney failure, I actually found myself pulling into the shelter just to take a look. I found Olivia. My daughters thought it was a complete betrayal to Clarice that I would consider adopting so quickly. But I said to them " Clarice would want another orphaned animal to have a chance at a half decent life just like she had". The girls ended up agreeing and Olivia was picked up the next day. Olivia passed away last spring due to congestive heart failure. She was only 4. It was congential.

Once again LaceyLady I am so sorry for the lose of your beloved cat. So sorry.
Thank you for your prayers for my girl Molly. They are felt.
