Please Hep! TESC Degree Plan/Academic Evaluation - BA in Liberal Studies!

Hello Everyone! This is my 1st post here as I have been lurking around this forum for months. I am excited as I just received my academic evaluation this past week. I did some searches and found most of my answers but I am hoping those of you who have prior experience can assist me towards my pursuit of a BALS degree. I just need some clarification and advice so I can come up with a decent degree plan..below is my evaluation:

TESC is still waiting for 1 more transcript that has been taking forever to get there so I have to resend but the courses that I completed at that school are Biology 2, General Chemistry 1, General Chemistry 2, and Organic Chemistry 1.. which are 16 credits total (4 credits each). My question is which category would these classes fall into? I fulfilled my Natural Sciences section already and I noticed I still need 15 credits of General Education electives so would it fall there or would 7 of the credits go to Liberal Studies section where my Anatomy & Phys 1 is at? Also, is Organic Chemistry 1 considered UL? My plan is to take FEMA courses to complete the remainder of my Free Electives and possibly the Humanities CLEP to finish the Humanities section as well. Any advice as to what General Education exams and Upper Level exams I should take? From what I've seen, Here's to Your Health is a decent UL exam to start so that's the 1st one I'm studying for at the moment. I just want to thank you for your time and your help everyone! Kevin, welcome! The way your sciences will fill is as follows:
General Education Natural Science/Math
which when full, overflows to
General Education Electives
which when full, overflows to
Free electives

Anything UL will automatically fill your major first. I think orgo will count as 300 level in your major. A&P will come in as 200 level.

If I'm not mistaken, after all my general education credits get filled up with my remaining classes and I use FEMA to finish up my free electives, is the Liberal Studies section a continuation of G.E. classes? I would need another 200 level course I believe for that but the remaining 5 credits can be anything? Thanks for the clarification!

Be sure to double-check that Health is UL at TESC. I know it is UL at EC now, but I thought it was still LL at TESC.

It all happens at once, but yes. It will get bumped around as you send in grades/scores/transcripts, but that's the general idea. If you have only 1 300 level class right now, it might appear to sit in your gen eds, but then as you take 100 levels, that 300 level will get bumped up into your major.

Check the distribution, they do cap max and minimums in one area- for instance, you couldn't have ALLLLLL the liberal arts credits to be math. They have to reflect a mix, so just keep that in mind as you find the remaining courses/exams.

Hold on for a second for your eval, because I'm about 70 percent sure they'll bump your orgo UP into the 300 level which is part of your 18, saving you from taking one exam!

Gen ed: looks good
Liberal studies A UL: orgo 4 + 14 other (5 dsst) = 1 excess into LL liberal studies
Liberal studies B LL: 7 to go (excess from above) A&I Lit + 1 CLEP anything = 2 excess into free electives
Free electives 16 cr: 2 excess from above, 14 FEMA

Of course, if orgo ends up as 200 level, your initial plan works perfectly assuming your in-major distribution fits with the requirements.

Hello Jennifer! It's been awhile, how are you? I had a question and wondering if you could help me. I decided to take 4 real estate core classes which are 16 credits at a B&M so I can take my licensing exam to become an agent/broker after my degree. This changes my original study plan posted here so I was wondering if you knew where those classes would fall into? Also, does TESC charge after your 2nd evaluation? I'm curious how this works so please assist me if you can! Thanks again for all your help. Have a great day!

Sorry, I'm not Jennifer. Hopefully she'll ring in soon with a response.
In the meantime; The TESC evaluation lasts six months and it was my experience that it was updated every 4-6 weeks with a maximum of 4 updates. At least, that's what I remember. Send them an e-mail and they'll get back to you pronto.
