On Wednesday, I passed Principals of Management. I scored 63. I was very nervous because I failed my first CLEP test, American History with a score of 49. That was over a year ago. As a straight A student, it freaked me out and I lost my confidence. For that test, I only studied with a study guide from TCN. An online classmate turned me on to InstantCert. For the Management test I used the study guide from TCN again, then I focused the last 2 weeks on IntantCert. I was skeptical that IntantCert would help, but now I am sure that it made the difference. The forum posts are very helpful and provide good resources to use in addition to the flashcards. I have my confidence back and will test out of 4 more classes!

You should also consider using the REA study guides for U.S. History 1 and 2, psychology, and sociology. Many people find those sufficient.

American History is usually a difficult test to Clep out of because most people are familiar with the History of American Wars and Clep barely covers them if at all. It's good to see you got your confidence back, Clep is a very cost effective way of knocking a year or more of college work. The poster's on these forums are God-sends. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to give back and post your experiences.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Thank to all who replied. I appreciate the blessings and I will take the advise and use the REA study guides in addition to the other resources.
