Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm considering TESC and have a question about the following courses that I would need to complete. I'm using TESC in this instance to use the 18 FEMA elective credits I have. I would be going either the CIS or the Organizational Management route.

I have three courses I don't know where to place correctly.

I took the CSU pueblo 311 operations management and the 485 policy and strategy courses.

And I have a systems analysis and design from my local college.

I need help deciding

1. where will these units fit if I go the CIS route.
2. Where these will fit if I go the Organizational route.
3. What Penn Foster courses will fill in the remainder of the electives for each degree.



Ok, I believe I have the following courses left Which Penn foster will fit these?
Is there any other faster/inexpensive route to get these done independent study? (I need independent study so I can knock them out fast. I did the pueblo 311 course in a little under two weeks).

Bus. Core
3 units business finance
3 units business in society or international management
3 units business policy

I know this is a little to ask but I have searched for Penn foster equivalents here and haven't found a list. I am sure I can get this from ACE but I really want to know if someone can tell me from experience on whether the individual courses have been accepted by TESC.

Does penn foster require you to do only once course at a time before they send you out another course?

You can register for more than one course at a time. They will ship them out at the same time as long as you have paid in full.

FYI... If you do sign up for more than one course you must complete each course before they will ship out the proctored final. I had signed up for 2 courses one required a proctored final the other just had a final project. Even though the 2nd course did not have a proctored final I had to finish that course before they would send the proctored test for the first.

I am taking their ENG100 class, and you can knock it out quickly!

I have 6 assignments with #6 essay being the final(30% of Grade) , and I turned in essays 4&5 on Sat and Sun and they already graded essay 4 , so they are pretty good about grading your papers fairly quickly.

They just have a bunch of silly stuff they want you do first, like write several thesis statements, opening paragraphs, topic sentences, and your rough draft, " I forgot to include " some the items , and still got a 87 and 84 on essays 3 & 4, I am still waiting on essay 5 before I go and knock out essay 6.

Essay 6 is a Persuasive 5 paragraph essay with no research ,it is basically set up like a Clep essay, you write it on the fly and turn it in.

The only bad thing is, or good thing about this class is TESC and EC will give only Pass or Fail credit , so it will not help or hurt your GPA, But it will fulfill ECs WER requirement. So I am really not motivated to write Super Duper essays, only enough to quickly finish and get a passing score, this is a truly " A Pass is a Pass Class"
