Thanks for the reply.
How do the penn foster courses transfer to TESC , EC and COSC. I know they are ACE approved. But my question is does one get Grades?? or just pass/fail. I am basically concerned about TESC and EC.

At EC most will be Pass/Fail. I asked about my VB course when I saw it was just Pass and I am not sure why but the were able to give me a letter grade. I then asked about other courses Systems Analysis, Princ of Finance, etc and they said it would be Pass/Fail and not letter grade.
edit: the other courses I completed in Dec 08 that I mentioned above actually were given Letter grades and not Pass/fail. Submitted transcript directly from PF to EC. I think all courses will come over as letter grades now.

Fairly simple, I do not have a proctored exam, like some of the other PFC courses do.
They do not have MIn Time limit, only that you have 9 months to finish it.
Penn Foster mush have changed the rules. I've just registered for two Penn Foster courses: ENG103 Information Literacy and ENG100 English composition. While Info Lit is NOT proctored, the Engl Comp is (that's what they told me over the phone)

Info Literacy from Penn Foster transferred to my transcript as a letter grade for (1) credit at Excelsior. I just completed it about two weeks ago.

Gary, thanks for the input. A letter grade is a good news for me - one more chance to increase my GPA.
How did you transfered your PF credit? I mean what is the process. I'm still waiting for the course package and don't know if there will be any documentation on whom to contact and ask for the transript.

You will call the same number as you did when you called to order the course and request a copy of your transcript, they charge $10 per transcript.
However, once you complete the course they will send you a copy of your transcript - DO NOT OPEN IT -, instead place it in another envelope and mail it to your school, that's the free and easy way. -
Passed CLEP & DSST, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, Principles of Supervision, Human Resource Management, Here's To Your Health, Civil War & Reconstruction, Drugs & Alcohol Abuse, Introduction To Psychology, Introduction To Sociology, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union, Criminal Justice, Into to Law Enforcement, Astronomy, Environment and Humanity, Technical Writing, Foundations of Education, Western Europe Since 1945, DSST Organization Behavior, ECE Ethics: Theory & Practice, Intro to Business, ECE Abnormal Psychology, ECE World Population, ECE Psychology of Adulthood and Aging, Fundamentals of Counseling

Yes - try to earn some letter grades whenever possible to establish a workable GPA and make sure that upon receipt by your school that your results are recorded with the appropriate letter grade and not just a big P.
