Hello Everyone,
For those who have completed multiple courses at Penn Foster, are there any other ones like Financial Management?
I've completed it FM in two days and Strategic Business Management in three days (except the Project).
I am wanting to switch out maybe two or three courses from my BSBA AOS to use Penn Foster instead.
I understand Penn Foster may be more expensive than an exam, but the ease/quickness in completing trumps the cost.

I am taking the International Business course and hope to get it completed soon, I just did my first webinar on Thursday.
The only difference IB and SBM has is the added proctored exam, which I don't mind as long as I get it done faster...
Going to finish my Strategic Business Management project right away and work on the other courses.
If there aren't any other courses, I'll just email Ann Gardner for a list of biz courses and their syllabus.
There's two or three other courses that intrigues me, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research and Human Resource Management.
I just don't know what the "course work" involves, I'd like to have less project work and more non proctored exams.

Consumer behavior was good. Proctored hand-cramping open-book final, but was a nice course. Human resources management was a good one too.

I would suggest Human Resource Management, its the only other business course besides SM and FM, that doesn't have a proctored exam. Final project wasn't fun, but I did score a 93 on it. Just have to put in the time and do the work and then you'll most likely get a passing grade.
I would stay away from Retail Management unless you enjoy writing 15-20+ page papers for the final project and the proctored exam wasn't all that easy either. I scored an 88 on proctored exam, but it did test all my knowledge from the entire course.
My only advice on any of the final projects is follow everyone one to the T. If the instructions ask for a certain writing format, find a template of that format, if they ask for reference and title page make sure that gets added to the paper, the last thing you want is revisions to your final projects as it will delay you finishing your course.
I went thru a few of the courses fairly quickly but once you run into the proctored exams and final projects, that is when you realize that these courses do require real hard work, effort, and dedication to finish. The proctored exams do have a time limit, take around 7 days to get acknowledged that they've been received and another 4 days to get graded. The proctored exams aren't easy at all. International Business proctored I did fairly well on the quizzes, got an 80 on my project, but the proctored exam I scored just above passing. I didn't really like this course as much as retail management, as I have more real world experience that I applied towards retail management.
Don't be surprised if your graded project takes at least 10-12 days to get graded and don't be shocked if it gets returned for revisions.

HRM is super easy with no projects, webinars or proctored final. There are 5 exams and the final. The final consists of questions you answer from the book and then submit. This can be done in a couple of days.
Consumer Behavior has 3 exams, 3 discussion boards, a project and a proctored final. The project is a paper comparing two different strategic approaches for fast food expansion into India using certain criteria. This can be done relatively quick, the hold up will be waiting on the paper to be graded before they send the final exam.
ETA: I never had a paper returned for revisions and haven't heard of that. You do need to follow proper format for the papers, either MLA or APA. The exams can be taken twice so use that to your advantage. I print them off and answer with the book. Take the test, mark the ones wrong, find correct answers and take exam again. Discussion boards only require a couple of sentences to answer the question(s) and you immediately get a P. If you want a good/great grade, you will have to put something into the class. They will not just give it to you. If you just care about passing, that is easily obtainable.

You guys/gals rock. That's exactly what I was looking for... just a bit of feedback.
Thank you all, I guess I'll take an extra course from Penn Foster to make it four.
Human Resource Management as it's all non proctored exams and a non proctored final.
I may look into the others that interest me, but that's if I need those courses.
I'll just keep a mental note of Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, etc on my mind.
May go for one of them if the other AOS courses/TECEPS are hard to finish...

I recall only Human Resource Management is the only other one, the rest such as Consumer Behavior and Market Research require either a project or a proctored final. I don't mind that, just would like to get my classes done ASAP.

Wowzers, I just read over the syllabus for all three courses, not bad for Human Resource Management and Marketing Research
For Consumer Behavior it's like Strategic Business Management, there's a research project and discussion board postings.
The time I can finish each one of those would be pretty quick, I just have to go through them quickly, fix errors on exams, and done.

Just wondering if anyone completed any one of these three Penn Foster courses.
Any feedback on these three would be appreciated, wanting to take more courses from them.
The three are: Compensation Management, Employee Benefits, Training Concepts.
I'll email Penn Foster to get the course syllabus as I would like to know what's required.
