Penn Foster ACE Approved UL - in case you are considering...LOOK HERE
#1
I just wanted to share that I signed up for 3 Penn Foster Courses last Monday.

I chose Employee Benefits, Retail Marketing and Corporate Finance. For some reason I thought this would be a quick and easy way to earn UL credits. I have experience in both human resources and retail management so I figured I could breeze through these courses. It is not that the work is difficult. It has become more time consuming than I originally thought.
For anyone wondering, all three of these courses have Final Projects AND proctored final exams. Not to mention ACE recommendation expire for the first 2 on 9/30! So i am busting my chops to write research papers. This is not so quick and easy. Darn my ambition!! :willynilly:

Anywho, In 7 days I am done with Employee benefits (6 MC exams, 5 DB posts and a 5 page research paper), Nearly done with Retail Mgmt (4 mc exams, 4 db posts and half thru the research project) I hope to be finished with this research paper today! edit: Finished second research paper (10 pages) Whew!

I will be (hopefully) finished with Corporate Finance by the end of the week.!!
Now, back to research!
I'll be lurking here all day in the mean time. I am sooo grateful to have found this forum. With the information and knowledge gained here I plan to finish my degree with EC by the end of the year?

Do the Penn Foster course descriptions say "Final Projects AND proctored final exams" in them BEFORE one registers?

The assignments are not a part of PF course descriptions. However, I you can read the ACE credit method of instruction and it will give a general idea of the assignments to expect. I mistakenly assumed this was general information as opposed to what will actually be required. They all seem to read the same so I went with it. But no big deal, I'm getting through it.
