Hello guys,
It looks like Pearson has many self-paced, online ACE credit courses:
http://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseactio...CE=1007207
How can I take their courses? and how much do they cost?
I can't find any information about those courses on their website.
Thanks

This looks like the main page for details:
https://www.pearson.com/us/higher-educat...opero.html
Here's one up close:
Introduction to Business Information Systems: A self-paced, online course from Propero
https://www.pearson.com/us/higher-educat...stems.html
https://www.pearson.com/store/p/propero-...1323790304
Instant access, $330.00
I did notice many in the ACE listing had expiration dates that are fast approaching.

Thanks for the link.
But when you click on 'Buy Now', it directs you to this page:

There's no way to get access to any of their courses.

Hmm, and I was thinking you were talking about these courses here from Pearson.
Which seem to be expiring very soon and I think were basically the Lumerit offerings.
The cost is much more than I thought it would be, as I thought the Pearson courses were just $330.

I did not even find those BJ.
But it appears that the "Accelerated Pathways" might be their new offering since the Propero/ACE are due to expire in November.

For me this link opens a page with option to "Add to Cart".
That advances to a Check out page.

Yeah... $675 for ACE credit course is too expensive! I'd rather pay $400 for ASU Earned Admissions course.

I don't think in all of my years here, I've heard anyone take a Pearson/Propero course - there is almost nothing you can't take elsewhere for far cheaper.
And I think they got bought by another entity within the last year? Can't remember...

If they're anything like the Lumerit course I got for free(which uses Propero), I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. To do one lesson they want you to read 3 chapters(100 pages), click through a presentation, log in to their lockdown browser for a mandatory practice quiz, exit the lockdown browser, then log back in to the lockdown browser to take the actual graded quiz. Also, the text book they use makes you click through each page, with no scrolling option so if you read/scan fast, you spend more time waiting for the next page to load than actually reading.

Wow, that sounds excruciatingly tedious!
I can't imagine anyone voluntarily signing up for a second course after that, especially considering the cost per credit.

$675 for 3 credits is more than some community colleges! That's actually more than FHSU which is a university. $218 per credit for undergrad there.
