Went in and knocked out Principles of Marketing today. I scored a 66/80. I honestly thought I'd score a bit better on it having gone through the entire REA test prep, taken two practice tests and studied a third. You can never quite be sure what's gonna be on those things...oh well, a pass is a pass
this marks I'm up to 45 credits! Booyeah!
Ya'll have a good thanksgiving week!

I wouldn't spend 3 weeks studying for it unless you just have time to burn and want a break. I studied for a week and a half and felt pretty confidant with the material. This is one easier CLEP's I've taken for sure. The large majority of the exam is testing you on terminology which is really easy. here's an example from the REA test prep of a pretty common type of terminology Q.
Reciprocity means
a) buy from me and I'll buy from you
b)buy from me or I'll ruin your product's name
c) buy from me and I'll give you free samples
d) I'll buy from you no matter who you buy from
e)none of the above
all most of these Q's require is some basic vocabulary knowledge. If you know what the def for reciprocity or reciprocal is it'll be obvious that the answer is a. I found that a lot of the terminology gave itself away like that. There's also some business math thrown in there but it's not rocket science so don't stress about it. Just learn those 5-6 formula's and you're set. Take the practice tests, study the answers and I'm sure the IC flash cards would help too.
Good Luck!
