Unless you already have a good grasp of algebraic concepts, I do not recomment PassYourClass for the College Algebra CLEP. In fact, I would never recommend them regardless after my experience. I purchased the materials, and was extremely upset with what the material covered, because the company claims that their materials are all that you will need to pass. That was very misleading. The booklet only contained very brief explanations of the concepts and one sample problem of each. When I contacted them to complain and request a refund, the response was "You are correct that our study guides are designed to take a student with no knowledge of a subject and get them to a passing level. The exceptions are math and foreign language. While these should be self-explanatory, we will make it more clear on the website." They told me they would only refund the purchase price if I took and failed the exam. That would have been foolish, because there was NO WAY I would have passed with the PassYourClass materials.

That was 2 years ago. I just checked their website and the item description still clearly states that you need nothing other than their study materials to pass this test. I'd be willing to bet they haven't improved the materials enough to make that true. Beware of this company! Not only is their website misleading, they only contact info they have is an email address. I was never able to locate a phone number for this company.
