PLR credits - Atlantic EMS Council state-licensed or Nationally Registered EMT

I went through a PLR process at TESU a few months ago, but I didn't make a post about it.

If you have an EMT credential issued by a member of the Atlantic EMS Council (i.e., DE, DC, MD, NJ, NC, PA, VA, WV) OR the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) between July 2005 and January 2023, you can get the following TESU course equivalencies:

• BIO-206: Anatomy and Physiology I Lab (2 credits)
  
• BIO-111: General Biology I (1 credit)
  
• BIO-126: Biology I Lab (1 credit)
  
• HUS-202: Emergency Safety (1 credit)
  
• COM-203: Emergency Communication (1 credit)
  

TESU requires a cover sheet (available at either of the PLR links) and a notarized copy of the credential/transcript. I couldn't get to a notary, but TESU's PLR page says that "the NJ Department of Health can send an official verification of certification/licensure directly to the University upon the student's direct request." The person I spoke with at the NJ Department of Health refused to send official verification to TESU, so I tried asking NREMT to send something instead.

NREMT sent an official verification directly to TESU within 2 days and it was accepted by the registrar (even though it's not listed as an option on the PLR page). No additional form, notary, phone calls, etc. required.
