Passed Financial Accounting! Barely...
#1
So this morning i took Dsst financial accounting.. the passing score is a 47.. i scored a 47 :leaving:
i was expecting a somewhat low score due to my lack of study, but i wasnt expecting right on the edge.
When i saw this number my mind was blown, i marked only a few questions at the end and changed 1, and answered with my gut instinct on a very difficult one. Now i cant help but to overthink as to which one saved me or which one hurt me.
I am so thankful that i passed since i have strict deadlines i set for myself so i can finish my BSBA asap.
Hopefully this is a learning experience for my future tests to study more.

For those of you who have taken this DSST, i have a question..
Right before i started the test, there was that quick little test summary that showed up, saying the usual.. passing score it this.. time allowed is this.. blah blah..
But what caught my eye is.. I remember it saying something like this " This test offers reference pages that can be viewed by clicking "summary" and then selecting either Table 1 Table 2 or Table 3"
Now i didnt think twice about this because i thought i would find these tables.. but once i started the test, i looked everywhere and could not find these tables..

Did this test offer reference tables at all or was i misinformed or just misread..?
Luckily i passed but if i had available reference to tables with formulas or info, i would have liked to use those..

That's exactly what happened to me!
I actually took the CLEP FIn. Accounting first, and failed with a 45, so I turned to the DSST version, and barely passed with a 47 as well! The score was really shocking for me to see as well; thought I did better than THAT!

I can't tell about the tables, I didn't use them.

One thing I can say, is that everyone should get the BA II Plus calculator for this test (esp. for CLEP version), definitely, if they plan to take Principles of FInance. I really wish I'd had it for accounting!
I used the financial calculator for Principles of Finance, and I don't think I would have gotten the 55 I did, if I didn't have it.
