ICC is the quickest and most affordable foreign language credit. Others cost quite a bit more and take more time. If you haven't already, I would suggest installing DuoLingo on your phone and doing a quick lesson or two when you're not near your computer and can't do ICC. It should help the ICC course make more sense. There is also

Thank you for the help Rachel! And everyone else who answered. I’ll stick it out with the ICC Spanish course.

No, idk any other languages. I was just looking for affordable/quick foreign language credits. Haven’t been a huge fan of the ICC course so far
Sophia is launching Spanish 1 by end of this month! It will be transferable to Umpi per Jessica. If you still aren’t loving IC Spanish maybe give Sophia a try?

Sophia's Spanish is going to require at least two Touchstones: one written, one oral. I wouldn't give up on ICC yet until we see exactly what Spanish is like.

The Sophia class will probably be no easier than UMPI's class with those Touchstones. You have to write a 500 word essay and answer some questions orally at UMPI.

I'm actually interest in Sophia's Spanish even with the touchstones, though not so much the oral part. Any other online exams available (CLEP isn't for me). I have no knowledge of Spanish, I did French in 1998 for GCSE but remember nothing now lol

This course will expose beginning Spanish students to the Spanish language and culture. The goal is to inspire the student to learn more about the richness of language and culture in the Spanish-speaking world. Students will learn foundational grammar and vocabulary, develop listening skills, and look at some of the cultures associated with the language, especially in Latin America.
