Saylor.org – Free Online Courses Built by Professors
Has 289 courses either completed, in progress, or planned for future. ALL FREE. Areas of study include general education, art history, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication, computer science, economics, English literature, history, math, mechanical engineering, philosophy, political science, psychology, real world math, and electives. They have partnered with Charter Oak State College, The City University of New York (CUNY) Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies, Colorado Technical University, Excelsior College, Granite State College, Thomas Edison State College, and University of Maryland – University College. At this point 3 of their courses, Corporate Communications, Western Political Thought, and Business Law & Ethics, are available for full credit at the above schools (with a proctored exam). They have two courses that have been aligned with Excelsior exams and one aligned with CLEP. They are creating a closer partnership with TESC by aligning several of their courses with TECEP exams. In addition, TESC is creating exams in line with come courses available through Saylor.
