Some schools offer a post masters certificate of advanced graduate studies or CAGS.
Its most common in the teaching field but ncu has CAGS for just about every PhD they offer.
In a CAGS you simply take 6 PhD level specialization courses and then graduate with 18 credits and a credential.
Check them out. They have a CAGS in criminal justice in the college of business.
