I haven't done the best job keeping up here the last year or so but I'm winding up to finish my BSBA this summer and had a quick question - Is Operations Management a required course for my BSBA in General Management through TESU and if so is Saylor Business Statistics still a way to satisfy it? That's what I have written into my degree plan spreadsheet but I'm pretty sure I read something here indicating that had changed.
If it's not required can someone please suggest another Upper Level business elective I could take in it's place? I'm under the 2014-2015 catalog and am already taking the Sales Management, Advertising, and Marketing Communications TECEPS to meet three of the four UL credits with an Accounting course, and Marketing: Public Relations Thoughts and Practice as my LL courses.
Thanks!

No, Ops Mgmt is not required. And Business Stats will not fulfill that, it's a duplicate of the stats course you already had to take for the degree (used to be different, but no longer).
You can take
SL's Managerial Accounting, which comes in as ACC-303 (Cost accounting)
Org Behavior is MAN-311, available through DSST, UExcel, SL, Study.com
Human Resource Management - DSST, UExcel, Study.com
Money & Banking DSST or Financial Institutions & Markets TECEP
Labor Relations UExcel
PF has Business REsearch Methods, Compensation Management, Corp Finance, Employee Benefits, Retail Mgmt, and Training Concepts
Additional TECEP's are also available
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers DSST Computers, Pers Fin CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats Ed4Credit Acct 2 PF Fin Mgmt ALEKS Int & Coll Alg Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics Kaplan PLA

Hmm, I happen to have the same question as I thought the wikia page was current as of July 2015. If there has been changes, I'll send an email to academic advising just to make sure. I am taking ALEKS Stats but that should go as STA 201 and is lower level. The wiki mentioned Saylor Business Stat is UL. Will report back when I get that info.

Thanks for the reply and information! I was trying to figure out what would work but it was information overload with everything else I've been reading lately. I'm glad Ops Mgmt is not required as the TECEP for it sounds rough from what I've read.
