Hello everyone,
I just wanted to update on my journey. I started my research on completing my degree back in August. That's when I found this forum. Upon, further research I decided to apply at Excelsior College. My official evaluation showed that I needed 34 credits to finish a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. Mostly I needed upper level credits.
Since finishing my degree will be an out of pocket expense I needed to find a more affordable program. Searching around again I learned about Open College at Kaplan University. I applied to this problem on 12/10 and was excited to learn how flexible it is.
Since August I have completed 2 straighterline courses, 1 course assessment and 3 Penn Foster courses. Today I received my updated degree plan from my advisor at Kaplan and I am just one assessment and one capstone course away from my degree. If I had continued at EC it probably would have been another year before I finished.
Overall, i am glad I didn't stop researching and thankful to have found this forum!
Happy New Year every one!
