OnlineDegree.com and Excelsior Transcript
#1
Does anyone know if the transcripts from Excelsior for courses done through OnlineDegree.com have grades on them?

No, but I do know that schools won't take them that way (at least TESU and COSC won't take courses transcripted through a 3rd party).

Say we only have one onlinedegree.com class on a completed Excelsior bachelors transcript; would that cause us any issues going toward a Masters program at another school?  Would they possibly make us take an additional undergrad class before being allowed to start a masters?

In many cases, it will be just fine.  However, for certain prerequisite courses, you might be required to take an actual college course, or even be required to take it in person. For instance, if you want to go on to get a master's in biology, it would not be surprising for them to want your core science courses to to have in-person labs. That's why we always tell people to check on the master's program requirements first if they have a particular school or discipline they want to target for grad school.

However, if you just think you might want to get an MBA someday, and aren't concerned so much with where, then we know that there are enough programs out there with flexible admissions that you don't need to worry much.

The whole Excelsior (or other credit banking) thing is good for three things that I know of. One being grad school admissions because you aren't actually transferring the courses to the grad school, just showing you've taken them and that an RA school gave you credit. The second is employer requirements for certain coursework. The final thing is certain certification requirements like qualifying to take the CPA exam. Even then, in all those cases, you need to do the research to be sure it will work for your school, employer or state.
