Online MPH Program No Exams?
#1
Does anyone know of any online MPH program that courses are more paper-based rather than exams? Personally, I hate exams and would prefer to write papers (if possible the whole degree as writing papers over taking exams)

I would obviously want the program to be online and CEPH accredited.

I don't think anyone would have a list of this created, but there is a list of all programs available to search: https://ceph.org/about/org-info/who-we-a...ccredited/

There's a unicorn! Seems like so many of us are looking unicorns. Or we're just ahead of the times and academia is slow to catch up. Finding a program that is exam free is REALLY hard. So few out there. Good luck! If you find one please share it on here. Someone else would probably be interested in the info.

I would be super interested in a public health masters that is paper based as well!

You can try a non-traditional school, but most won't have CEPH accreditation. Look at the syllabi for APUS' MPH program; they have CEPH accreditation. Normally, you can expect exams in STEM and STEM-adjacent programs. Papers are not a good way of assessing whether you know a broad range of scientific information.

UNE has it.

IT looks like New Mexico State University also has it too https://publichealth.nmsu.edu/graduate/m...ments.html You can skip the exam by doing a thesis and defending it.

Not requiring a comprehensive exam doesn't mean that the individual courses do not require exams.
