Online MBA- potential student

Just turned 50 and looking for some online MBA programs that could help me maintain my relevance at work and maybe get one last promotion.  I have no intention on seeking other work and the bosses have indicated I can stay there until I want to retire.  Are there any schools that have an online MBA program that doesn't have a capstone and no group projects?  I am assuming that is a pretty tall order.  I don't have any need for networking or career services or anything like that, and my employer covers about 15-20K.  I am not really interested in WGU/Liberty, etc as they have developed a reputation around work, not fairly but more of a function of how the students conveyed their experiences there.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't remember anyone reporting the HAU MBA to have any group work. I could certainly be mistaken about that, though, so you'd want to double check the HAU threads.

I'll add that you shouldn't rule out a program just because it has a capstone. A capstone is much different than a thesis requirement; which I suspect is your true interest in avoiding (and I personally understand the desire to avoid one). That would be a great option.  I looked up HAU and think that it may be outside the scope of what my employer may see as a "legitimate" school (ie too cheap??).  I have read good things about it, but I also don't want to give the impression of doing something that seems entirely as a check-the-box.

I recall there being at least one course that had a group project. I'm currently unable to reach the family member who just completed the degree to find out which class (but in this case that probably isn't relevant anyway - as it does have at least one group project course).

If your employer covers 15K to 20K of the degree, I’d find an AACSB Accredited program.

All Ambteron MBA's have a Capstone course. It's not called Capstone though. For all but 1 MBA it's Strategic Management.
