Does anyone know of a cheap online/distance course in the New testament or Old testament at a RA school? I unfortunately have to have one or the other to meet the requirements of my general education requirements. Unfortunate because I cannot simply test out of it since there is not a test that meets the requirement. I checked with Clovis and although they offer the course, they do not offer it online or at a distance.
Thanks in advance.

BYU Independent study has several distance learning courses in both the Old and New Testament:

Why in ther world would you have to take an old testament/new testament course for general education requirements?
Are you taking your online degree at a religous school?

Lol, well the degree is through a private B&M college here in NC and they started out as religion based. They are no longer religion based but have held on to certain parts, such as the requirement for the old or new testament. When I was going to college 15 years ago, I took Intro to Logic in order to keep from having to take a religion course. The program I am in is an accelerated program where you complete a class every 5 weeks going one night a week for 4 hours. I will complete 5 classes per semester going 4 hours a night, one night a week. It kind of fits into my schedule.

I guess a little bit of short term pain is worth the long term gain then.

My thoughts exactly. It should be the only course I will have to actually take. The rest of the courses I can test out of.

If your school will accept ACE credits Seminary Extension might work for you.
They have distance learning courses that may fit your situation.

Has anyone looked into this?
The courses are pretty cheap, could be good elective credits.
