UMPI has partnered with Study.com! UMPI has evaluated all of Study's classes and now has an official list of how the courses will transfer to UMPI. This is a great resource if you're looking to attend UMPI. Most courses will come in as LL electives, but the ones that don't you'll see exactly how they will fit into your degree plan such as Business 306 Strategic Human Resource Management comes in as BUS321 Human Resource Management and Business 106 Human Resource Management now comes in as a LL business elective.

I saw this last year and the list was super tiny and super out of date. IT looks so much better now!

I'm wondering how these truly transfer into the GEC: like, BIO 101: Intro to Biology says "Biology Elective"; does this mean it will work as a Biology course in the GEC section 3c (Life Science requirement)? Same with others like that. It's a bit...vague...on how that will work. I get that anything labeled "General Elective" won't work in the GEC, but the others are inconclusive.
Hopefully some people on here will have taken some Study.com courses and try to see what they come in as so we have more info.

I still need to get a hold of my advisor to verify, but from UMPI's transfer equivalency internal portal, SDC's Introduction to Biology with Lab is marked as GLO3:LOC,E, which means it fulfills both the non-lab and lab science req in their GenEd. Fingers crossed that hasn't changed by the time I get an appointment with my advisor!

UMPI wants lab for science. The C&E requirements get a bit blended. There are less overall required GECs for some of the more "filled" majors. it's really weird and hard t odescribe which is why you really should be targeting questions about your unique credits to UMPI

Biology 101L has come in to fill the lab science requirement in the GEC. Several people on here have transferred it in.

I wonder if UMPI takes NCCRS now. I would LOVE for them to start taking NCCRS, this opens up Davar!
