Anyone can register. There is verbiage that indicates that they would prefer black women but it's also for people who are low income/retail workers and/or who have experienced domestic violence. There are no qualifiers before they allow you to register. It's up to your own conscience whether or not any or all of this applies to you. Personally, if I were (for instance) a white man who is unemployed or under-employed then I would have no qualms about participating.

Hopefully, they'll send out an email or something. All I got was a receipt that said very little. Mine is set for March 11th.

Wait. You were able to register for this? I always thought it was for women and that's the reason I never asked... maybe I should get my wife or sisters and female friends into this if I can't get in... hmm... interesting though...

Unlike the Tulane University Cloud Computing course, Oakton's credits ARE transferrable to another institution. It's a complicated and somewhat confusing sign-up/enrollment process.

It's aimed at vulnerable, under-served people who can't afford it otherwise. Not just anyone who wants to get some free credits. I'm a woman, and wouldn't dream of taking a place away from someone who really needs it. That would be like going to a food pantry and stocking up when you can well afford to buy groceries, but hey, it's free, and there's no law against it!! Gimme gimme!! SMDH at some people.
