At TESC, are you able to double major in nuclear engineering technology and homeland security? They offer both majors, just not sure if you are able to double major since one is a BS and the other is a BSAST. My sister is thinking of doing this. She wants to work in nuclear non proliferation.

Engineering Technology is geared toward someone who works in a power plant. Nuclear non-proliferation is going to lean more toward a Political Science type degree.

If she wants to do technical intelligence work, then all she will need is a degree in a STEM field. There is also white collar-oriented intelligence that requires a background in business, accounting, and/or finance. The non-proliferation stuff is all about diplomacy. A degree in political science, international relations, national/international security, or security studies would be better for this than homeland security. Homeland security/emergency management is about protection from and response to man-made and natural disasters such as terrorist attacks and hurricanes.
