Just noted the following tuition discount plan from Northwestern State University.
Their online Bachelor should be among the cheapest now.
(
https://www.nsula.edu/ensu/tuition-and-fees/)
"...For students who attend NSU exclusively online:
Undergraduate:
$325 per credit hour up to 12 hours, then
$100 per credit hour thereafter*
Graduate: $425 per credit hour up to 9 hours, then $100 per credit hour thereafter*
*Additional course and/or professional fees may be assessed as applicable
INTERNET-ONLY STUDENTS DO NOT PAY ANY OUT-OF-STATE FEES.

your thread title is very misleading
$3900 and then $100 per credit hour thereafter
and if that's per semester, then it means to get the special price I've got to take 5 courses in a semester
that's way too much for me while I'm working
if I didn't have a job, then maybe

Yeah, I suspect that is per semester, makes it pretty expensive and rather intensive actually.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

You are right. Really misleading.

too bad they don't have graduate degrees in Business or computers. They are AACSBI which would have been nice. MIL TA can go a long way for 100$/cr

To compare with tuition rates for Spring 2015
http://registrar.nsula.edu/assets/Tuitio...Oct-23.pdf
Scroll to the second page
The tuition for online degrees at this university have gone up considerably. You'll notice that 1) Tuition was at least $100 per credit hour cheaper for full time for undergrad and graduate and 2) previously the tuition charge CAPPED out at full time (12 for undegrad and 9 for grad). No $100 extra tuition per credit hour.
No, this is a bait and switch for people who have no history of their tuition rates. This is not a good deal at all.
In fact, cookderosa can use this as yet another example of misleading advertising in posting tuition rates.
