Hello everyone. I initially registered at COSC and then decided to go with EC instead (I still haven't received my evaluation yet). When reviewing EC's BS degree requirements (BAL, BSL & BS in Healthcare Mgt), I've estimated that I need about 15 credits to finish. I've been lurking on the site and tried to research the answers to most of my questions, before I actually post. However, I still do have a few questions and I also want to clarify a few things.
From reading the proir posts, is it safe to assume that I can get my test results in as little as 10 days if I take the computerized version?
Also, in regards to the Statistics requirement, when Statistics Exam is easiest?
It is also my understanding that if you do not pass an exam, you have to wait 6 months to retake it. Is this so? My last concern is what if I do not past the exam? Does the failing score go on my transcript or does only the passing exam count?
Pardon me if my questions have been asked already.....

When you take a computer based exam with either CLEP,DSST,or Excelsior your test results are immediate, unless there is a essay portion on your exam but most do not require essays. Now go take some tests! good luck! hilarious

It takes 2-3 weeks for your school to get your score even though you see it immediately on the non-essay CLEP/DSSTs. I haven't taken a ECE so I don't know specifically how those work.
I didn't realize there was more than 1 Statistics exam. If there is and one is easier I would also love to know.
Yes there is a 6 month wait to retake an exam. If you don't send the grade to your school when you take the test it will never show up on your transcript. It will cost another $20 to send it later though. EC changed their rules at the first of the year concerning failing and duplicate grades so I would check with them as I am still unclear. Just don't consider failing a possibility though and you will be fine. Take the test when you are ready.
Good Luck!

ECE's computerized results are also instant, right after you take the test you get your letter grade and a percentile list breakdown of the test and how you answered each segment.
Excelsior did offer a Statistics Exam, but that is no longer available as of December 31, 2007. So the DSST is your best bet.
I think everyone else answered your questions to everything else
