New here, please help?

CSU-Global offers PM and IT PM, as well as Database Management.

I would try to get any of these pre-approved before taking them. I have no idea if WGU will accept any of them.

Don't forget that A+ is 2 exams - each $205. So $410. That starts to sound a bit expensive. You might just want to get the book(s) to study before enrolling, so that you can take the exams immediately upon starting the program.

Are you suggesting that I study and then enroll in all of those classes at once and take the exams for free (included in tuition)?

It looks like this.

No, you asked for courses that you could take to knock out some of the requirements. I was telling you the classes I know of that MIGHT work.

Yes, I understand that part. I'm trying to make sure that I understand that last sentence, "You might just want to get the book(s) to study before enrolling, so that you can take the exams immediately upon starting the program".

That was specifically about the A+ exams only:

What I'm trying to say is that WGU says the following about the program.

Quote:You will study for and complete the following certification exams at no extra cost:

CompTIA A+ (Parts 1 and 2)
CompTIA Security+
CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Project+
Oracle Database 12c: SQL Fundamentals
Oracle Database 12c: Installation and Administration
CIW Data Analyst
CIW Site Development Associate

Could I potentially take all of these in the same 6 month term by studying prior to enrolling and then testing out ASAP?

Yes, You can do what you want to get past those certs faster. If you have enrolled, they can't be transferred in anymore.
So, I would take them all at WGU since it's included in the cost for tuition, etc. Whatever way is faster for you is best.

Thanks for the info! I applied, but my transcripts haven't been sent from my local CC because they haven't got the proverbial lead out just yet (taking an eternity to actually award the degree that I have received in the mail).

Just FYI, I spoke with one of the representatives at WGU and you have to complete at least 30% of the program at WGU or you'll have to repeat courses. I'm not sure if this common knowledge here but its the first I've heard of it.

Are you sure they didn't say 30 credits? It's been known here for some time that you could only transfer in 90 credits and had to take 30 at WGU. That's why it is not one of the "Big4".
