I am new to this, have never taken a CLEP, DSST test yet. I need 6 Human Civ credits. First question, what is most preferred (easier) CLEP or DSST? And second, these are my choices, which would you choose to take?

American Govt (CLEP)
Civil War & Recon (DSST)
History of US I and/or II (CLEP)
History of Vietnam War (CLEP)
Human/Cultural Geography (DSST)
Intro to Modern Middle East (DSST)
Rise/Fall S Union (DSST)
Social Sciences & History (CLEP)
Western Civ I and/or II (CLEP)
Western Europe since 1945 (DSST)

I have started the Civil war study, but I have absolutely no interest in it and I am having trouble getting motiviated...any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

In terms of easiness, I would probably choose US History I & II. Either that or Social Sciences and History.

I would NOT take Modern Middle East, Vietnam War, or Western Europe Since 1945. Those are very challenging exams that require a lot more study than US History.

I second all of those suggestions. My only failed exam was Civil War, so I'm all for trying something else lol. I'd say US History 1, because if you went through the US school system K-12, you have at least heard of much already.
