Why would you do the Enrolled Options Plan if you are only taking 1 course there? The Per-Credit Plan plus the $2000 Residency Waiver is cheaper.

Not if he is paying the "In-State" fee for the Enrolled Options Plan. Now if he paid the "Out-of-State" then you are correct.

UPDATE ON TECEP RESIDENCY:
Here is the email I received today (not naming the advisor, since I don't want to get him into trouble):
"All TECEPs completed or registered up through the May 2016 Term will be honored toward your residency requirements. Anytime thereafter, TECEPS will no longer count towards the residency requirement."
So if this is the case, then they are giving a little bit of time for people to get their residency settled, since you can still sign up for the May term until April 16th.
AND (this is just me stating this), I would think that if you sign up for the June or July terms, but take the TECEP before the May term ends on July 24th, you would probably be ok. That means that even if you haven't taken ANY TECEP's yet, you still have the option to get this done.

Good news for many!
Would this be only for the 12/24 cr Residency requirement, or compatible with the 16 cr Residency requirement?

That's what I'm curious about as well. Thanks for the update.

They have now removed this from the website.

This is great news but I think TESU probably means any TECEPs already completed, or to be registered for the May term (not June and July). But I would be happy for someone to prove me wrong, actually very happy. Please someone prove me wrong.
