New TESU Residency Requirement!!! 16cr, TECEP's do not count?!?
I received a message back from TESU today. I have the 15 residency credits already (enrolled under PPC plan since 2014), but they are going to require me to complete 1 more residency credit. I could theoretically get a 75% refund on the 3 TECEPS I am signed up for ($256), and register for the 1 credit $38 Medical Terminology TECEP. I decided though to just go ahead and take the exams though. The Dept of Vocational Rehab paid for those exams though, and ethically if I don't take them I should return the money to the state. However, having those credits will probably help balance out my degree more for any future employers who might want to see my transcripts... as well as when applying for Masters programs.

I haven't been able to clearly find on the website if the Eng Comp I & II need to be proctored in person or are now thru ProctorU. Do you know how those two are proctored? Thanks!

If i decide to pay the $2,000 residency waiver fee, will i be able to transfer upto 120 credits to TESU without taking the TECEPS?

116 credits. the cornerstone/capstone have to be taken at TESU and cannot be transfered in. But yes, no TECEPS needed anymore.
However, with a a BSBA you can take a TECEP Strategic Management instead of the capstone and maybe the PF course (transfering in in this case), however, that might be changing and I think others can enlighten more.

Did you apply and register for a TECEP already? If so, you would have the option to skip it.

any registration now would have you starting after 7/1, requiring the cornerstone. Anything after 5/25 was too late. I know you had some question about this, but someone contacted TESU directly and confirmed that the 5/25 date was the cutoff.

I decided not to enroll into TESC and I missed a few months and come back to this.

Am I screwed? Im currently not enrolled into TESC and was planning on doing the per credit with teceps as santantones guide. I have tons of credits... How should I proceed?

edit: ok after reading through this whole thread, I have come to the conclusion that I can now transfer 117 credits and take the cornerstone for the BSBA strategic management (instead of that 1 CR $300 cornerstone), then pay the 2k for residency waiver and graduate.

Now it is easier to graduate (since I dont have to take 8 TECEPS), but it costs a little bit more. Paying 2k (fee waiver) + $300 cornerstone instead of $888 (teceps).

So in all, I would actually be paying $1,412 more than I would have last year, but now I can take as many SLer courses as I want instead of teceps.
Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.
