Oh my god, I JUST registered for Data Structures at Oakton yesterday. Time to get a refund lol.
This is a game changer, intro to programming and data structures are the last courses I have left for my BACS until the capstone! So excited!

I added those to my study.com dashboard just now. However, there is no option to take a proctored exam - is this just me or everyone?

ACE approved the courses today, so expect SDC to take a day or two to activate the proctored exams. It doesn't take them long, but they don't activate them until after ACE approval is obtained.

The SDC site and app aren't yet updated for any of those classes to actually be for credit yet. Hopefully, they will be soon.
Does anyone know if the chemistry with lab course is going to be through labster again? If so, that would make super cheap and fast to knock out 2 labs!

With these courses, SDC now has 203 out of their 285 college-level classes accredited through ACE. There are also 2 additional classes accredited through NCCRS that don't have ACE credit, so a total of 205 courses available for college credit. If you were to take all 205 classes, you would get somewhere between 613-628 credit hours, depending on how the differences between ACE and NCCRS recommended credit hours are applied.

C is MUCH easier than java for an intro to programming course (C is so straight forward, but java has so much crap in it), but java is easier than C for a data structures course (so much stuff is built into the language and no memory management)
both the intro to programming and data structures course use java
https://study.com/academy/course/compute...mming.html
It would have been great if they both use python instead
but the AP Computer Science exam uses java so I guess that's why they went with it
