Modern American Novel was at CC, Women in Literature from a uni. I also took a Gender studies class at that uni, do you think that would be upper level as well?

The gender studies class might work. How exactly was it transcribed? (And do you have any other classes in any area that might work for free electives?)

Update! TESC evaluated my credits already! These are the classes I'd have to take for an International Studies BA.

Can any be completed by testing, do you think? Or are they all just TESC courses? And what's TESC like for financial aid?

Thanks again.

Great! Western Civ I and II and World Geography are CLEP/ DSST. International Relations is offered at Penn Foster, and Conflict is an Excelsior exam. I have no idea about financial aid.

Financial Aid? For the Pell Grant, fill out the FAFSA and the government and TESC will contact you when/if you are awarded anything. Also check out private grants and scholarships (those ones you generally have to write essays for).

I need to take CLEP of either "Western Civilization I: Ancient Near East to 1648" or "Western Civilization II: 1648 to Present" to complete my degree. Can any one tell me which one will be easier ? Quick response will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There's lots of social stuff and politics in both, but more so in WC 2, so WC 1 was easier for me.

Another option is StraighterLine, which is where I did these two courses. It is $100 a month, plus $50 a course, and they are both doable within a month (i.e. cost is $100 a course). You'll also need textbooks, but you can buy them used and older editions worked fine (I paid $5 or $10 a book). West. Civ. I was really easy but West. Civ. II was a bit harder. I'm guessing that different people wrote the exams.
